A square is a square

148 of them.
When I first ordered this bundle I was disappointed when it arrived.
Stripes. I never used stripes.
Now I love this bundle. Ive used it for so much.
Sad that this will be the last of it. All 148 blocks.
Off to be sewn in to the stripiest baby quilt.

Also tomorrow there is some exciting news! I am excited!
Excited for tomorrow!

Fabric Garland

Super easy fabric garland.
I used fabric scraps from the Westwood Acres bundle.
I had about four or five of each fabric.

These sewed up in 10 minutes.
Pretty fast.

Adds great color to the room.

Lavender Pockets

I love the smell of lavender.
Calm and delicious!

I decided to make my lavender bags into the shape of tea bags.

The red string was a mistake that I just rolled with.
Turned out quite flashy.

Magnetic Alphabet

I used fabric from the Stripes that Bind bundle from Westwood Acres.

Print and cut out your alphabet. Assign the letters to fabric pieces and trace the letter on to the fabric.
Cut out 26 squares of cotton batting- more if you double the batting for a stiffer letter.
You'll want these slightly larger than the letters.
Place the magnet in between the cotton batting. Sew the letter up taking care that the magnet gets sewn in the letter and not outside of it.

With all of the letters sewn up let the spelling fun begin!

Mail Day!

Fabric day!
Stripes that bind fat quarter bundle from Westwood Acres. Seriously cute.
They remind me of colorful candy canes. I could eat them up!
Imagine all the flavors. Om nom nom.
My Fabricworm order also came in! I love the Birch fabrics that they carry. There are always cute designs.
Makes me want to collect them all!

I love the details on the bike and the purple birdie.

Excited to play around with these great fabrics. I am a giddy school girl. eeeeee.
