I had trouble getting my stencil correct.

I ended up free handed most off the letters.

Turned our pretty nice for being mostly free handed. 

Fig Roll

Dried figs from Turkey. 

 Snipped up and ready to cook. 

 Brown sugar, figs, vanilla and orange juice.

 Cooked for about 20 minutes or until soft.

 Blend the mixture in food processor until smooth. 

 With dough rolled out place the fig mixture in the middle. 

 Fold the sides over.

 Bake until golden brown.

Woolly Mammoth Antiques and Oddities.

No slim pickings on the oddities. Or the taxidermy art. 

 I really liked this store. Everything was gross and cool all at the same time. 

 The taxidermy was the best part. Lots of different animals. Lots of different poses. 

 So many I couldn't show them all! There is even a huge peacock from the Milwaukee zoo. Huge! 

 Seven little sisters who live on the round ball that floats in the air. 

This could be the best book ever. Or the worst. 

Labor day

 Wicket as a baby. Shes about 6 months here. 

So frickin cute. Little button nose! 

 Wicket now. She just had a bath and was mad at me. Shes is a year and 5 months old! 

"Do I get a cookie?"

Lots of snuggles happening this Labor day.
